Harry Potter fans are excitedly waiting for 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince' movie to run on screen. The movie is past due and is expected to be released shortly. Well Harry Potter fans know that Harry and Snape do not get along. Snape has constantly tormented Harry at Hogwarts and they both hate each other.

Snape was a Voldemort follower and that is why he was certainly not trusted by any of the staff and most of the students. The only reason that the staff puts up with him is that Dumbledore selected him. In this movie, this is the sixth series, Snape's actions start becoming distrustful.

In the start, he is seen making a deal with Narcissa Malfoy, another Voldemort follower, to gaurd her son Draco Malfoy, another hated Harry Potter enemy. As in the book, the fans will remain doubtful about Snape's role in the movie. Harry finds out a book of potions that belongs to the half blood prince.

It is towards the end that Harry comes to know that the book belongs to Snape. In the end, the assassinate of Dumbledore by Snape leaves the fans both stunned and full of abhorrence for the man who everyone only trusted because of Dumbledore, the greatest wizard ever.

Dumbledore was using Snape to spy on Voldemort as he always thought that Snape was on his side. Now all who have keenly read the book, the scheme and the story of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is known. The effects of the movie will be to heighten the hatred felt for Snape. Snape has always been a doubtful character throughout the sequel, but his actions become more wary in this movie.

Nonetheless, it is his hatred for Harry Potter and his infamies that keep fans glued to the books and to the screen in the movies. Without Snape, the mystery would not be very stimulating and neither will the anticipation hang in the air. It is evident that he is a dark wizard and very cold and reserved towards the world that he lives in. Whether Dumbledore knows more about Snape's mysterious past or not, than he reveals can be felt.

Snape is a dark hole that no one can comprehend. Dumbledore thinks he has managed to draw Snape to Hogwarts and closer to him. He thinks that he is using Snape, but Snape does not let on his true devotion. At the close, it ends with hatred shared by all for Snape. Harry Potter fans will know what to expect and will know what Snape is up to in this movie.

Conversely, seeing him on screen will of course be different. The detached, secluded Snape will remain a mystery for all. Even in this movie, the real character of Snape will not be exposed. He is struggling an internal battle with his own feelings. He knows that he holds many dark secrets that he does not disclose. There is a disturbing feeling about him. If the true face of Snape is exposed, the movies will stop being a hot seller.
