This straightforward kind of hen party was soon overtaken by the modern trends in bachelor parties. Girls started copying the styles implemented by their male counterparts. These days, hen parties are no more a tedious event. The bride-to-be goes out with her girlfriends on trips and holiday tours to enjoy the last days of maidenhood. Sometimes, they also invite a male stripper to add to the leisure factor.

Hen parties have also become a bigger smooth just like the bachelor parties. Girls do not want to have a solitary party with all the enjoyment and amusements. Some even place a week long party where they celebrate their bachelorhood to the fullest. Regular times, these parties are held on rented sail ships where one can like every possible form of amusement and lavishness. Wealthy brides-to- be also invite prominent singers or comedians to amuse the guests and add to the vigor factor of an already energetic party.
