To add the clouds, you can use a sea sponge. You can scatter them on the light blue area. You may want to cover the sun partially. You can also dab some gray at the bottom of the clouds to exude some dimension. Put in some stars on the top part of the shade to complete the nighttime ambience.

Let the paint dry. Then hang your shade. You can attach a decorative pull to complete your shade. Then you're good to go.
