Reassure your ex that the future will only get brighter. Use words that you know will tug at their heart and get them to think. Focus on the good times you had together and forget the bad scenes from your past. Make your ex realize that there are a lot of things that can happen with you together and if you concentrate on that, your ex may probably think twice about breaking up with you.

After talking to your ex, the only thing you can do now is to wait. The ball is now in your ex's court and only they can decide whether you are getting back together. By letting him think and process the whole situation, it gives off the impression that you are giving him the power to decide. During this time, do not call him or send him a text message. Do not rush your ex, every person needs time to think and to be alone.

This is the simplest way to get your ex back. Remember that a lot of couples get back together everyday.
