Position yourself in the center so the converging lines will look a lot longer and give your camera a slight tilt upwards to really maximize the sense of distance in the scene.

"Leading lines" is a term used by photographers that refers to the elements in the photograph that seem to lead the viewer's eyes to the central subject. There are a lot of man-made lines you can make use of; buildings, power lines, vehicles, and others. Think about how these lines affect the scene you're taking and where do they lead the eyes to. Are these lines the main feature? Do they lead the viewer into the center of the scene or do they cause distraction and lead the attention away from the main subject of the scene. For example, straight diagonal lines can impart the impression of speed; a race car's velocity can be exaggerated by capturing it using a diagonal or slight tilt. Curved lines have a calming quality to it, so when you take pictures of models you must make full use of the curves in the human body in order to create a natural flow in the image. Angled lines give off a sense of discord, especially when you're taking pictures of abstract images you need to accentuate its angles and edges.

The primary things that you should consider when taking photographs are the lighting and shadows. If you can place your subject in a position where you can get as many shades as you can, it will result in a much better picture.
