This diet requires you to eat specific kinds of foods for three days as well as to drink only four glasses of water or soda each day. For example, during day one you are only allowed to eat 1 slice of toast with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and drink, half of a grapefruit and to drink black coffee or tea with Equal or Sweet & Low for breakfast; for lunch you are only permitted to eat 1/2 cup of tuna, 1 slice of toast and to drink black coffee or tea with Equal or Sweet & Low; and for dinner only 3 ounces of lean meat, 1 cup of green beans, 1 cup of carrots, 1 piece of apple and 1 cup of regular vanilla ice cream is allowed. The menu varies from day one to day three.
