Finally, when the sun doesn t show up for an extended period of time, you may experience power outage since you won t have any local power grid to depend on.

All in all, using solar energy can really be beneficial. You really just have to ponder well on what system would work better for you in utilizing it. Is it grid-tied or off-grid? Only you would know the answer.
