Next, use this keyword as the TITLE for an written piece and use the keyword 2-3 times throughout the course of the article body. Write about 500 words or so – you can use the text to 'sell' your site with relevance to the keyword you have used.

Now, when people search for your keyword, google will show the listing to your document and although your website itself may not yet be listed by google, you will have created a means for those using google to find out your site and where to find it.

Of course, you can also publish the piece that you have written as a blog post. The fact that you have used a frequently searched for keyword will also help your efforts toward getting your blog recognised and indexed by the major search engines.

If in addition, your blog is linked to your marketing site then again, this helps in getting you more web presence which ultimately, of course is what you are after.

Once you have published your piece to your blog make sure that you then 'ping' your blog using one or more of the free pinging services available online. This will help get it out there and help gain you more readership.
