So at the start of the game, both players will target to shoot the ball 1. When that is in, any player who is next will try to shoot 2. Both players have the same goal of shooting all balls in order, but having in mind that the nine ball is the winning ball. So as each try to shoot a ball, he must also try to hit the nine ball in a manner that it will also enter a pocket. There are strategies to do this and billiard tables are designed to make strategies and tricks while playing the game.
