Most of these rear-tined cultivators can cover 14 to 34 inches wide and go as deep as 8 inches. They also have wheels and motors on their front tines.

Finally, front or mid-tined cultivators are the full-sized versions of the mini cultivators. This is to say that they are the heavier versions of mini cultivators. Front or mid-tined cultivators can till the soil as much as 12 inches deep and 36 inches wide. They can also work on any obstacles such as very hard soil or rocks. On the other hand, they may require more grip and force while using them.
