It is common for every computer to have a spelling checker. But this might be limited to its version. That is, if one's spelling checker was created in 2007 then it is using the database of words that has been last updated in 2007. And 4 to 5 years from that time, a lot of other words might have been added or deleted already.

In the above writing software, there is also a spelling checker by context. This means that the spelling will be decided whether it is the right spelling or the right word or not, depending on the context of the sentence or paragraph to which is belongs.

This is also an example of a writing software - one that will free one's articles of any jargon.
