Finding the right air conditioning parts might be harder than it sounds because each HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) unit is different. Although most of these look a lot alike and many will work the same way, the parts may be much different.

If you think about how an air conditioner works, you should think most closely about how a refrigerator works because it is almost the same exact way (just not as cold). With a refrigerator, the unit cools a small unit but with your air conditioning unit it cools a room, a house, or an entire building. The evaporator portion is what will heat the location and that is usually inside and will be located in the furnace.

There is fluid that is the key to the whole process and this will enter the compressor department as a gas-type form and this major part tightens around this fluid. This causes the fluid the break down to the point to where the compressor can molecule the fluid and use the energy produced by it. This sends the gas out of the compressor and flowing into the separate chamber of the condenser. The metal on the "box" located outside your home or business allows all that energy and heat to dissipate faster.

Once the gas is ready to leave the condenser area, it is much colder than before and it has changed over to liquid form. From here, it will travel to the evaporator chamber along the way of a small tube. Once it reaches the other side, the pressure of the liquid will drop dramatically and it will then turn into, once again, a gas. When this happens, the machine will subtract all the heat that is circumventing near the gas. This is necessary in turning the air into a very cool breeze in which will blow through the vents passed throughout the home or business. Remember, if one of the air conditioning parts are out of sync chances are that your HVAC unit is not far behind.
