The weather mode measures atmospheric pressure variations over the last six hours to calculate the reading and the measurement range is 300 hPa to 1100 hPa for absolute pressure and 950 hPa to 1100 hPa for relative pressure with an accuracy of +/- 3 hPa.

Altimeter Mode. Using this mode the Tissot T-Touch Expert acts as a barometer that displays the altitude relative to the mean sea level. The measurement range is from -400m to +9000m (-1333ft to +30,000ft) and measures the altitude using the variance between relative and absolute pressure. The Altimeter is temperature-compensated and allows you to correct it based on your geographic location by choosing from the pre-programmed settings using the simplified the Koeppen climate classification.

Compass Mode. In this mode, the Expert shows True North by using the analog hands as the compass needle. In addition, if you need to use this Tissot T-Touch watch to navigate, there is also an Azimuth Mode that displays the azimuth you need to locate a heading.

Thermometer mode. When you are using this mode, the Expert measures the ambient temperature and displays it on the LCD window. However, you will have to take off the Tissot T-Touch for around fifteen minutes to avoid the heat of your wrist affecting the reading.

In addition, the Expert has the great standard features available with all Tissot T-Touch watches, including the chronometer and two alarms. You can also consider other Tissot T-Touch watches, including the Sea Touch that has all the features of the Expert but is also water resistant to 330 ft (100 meters) and features an antireflective sapphire crystal on the dial face that makes the watch very readable even in full sunlight. There is also the Racing Touch which includes Lap mode that allows you to measure the lap time of a runner and save it in an internal logbook so that you can produce statistics including the fastest and slowest times as well as the average lap times.
