Remote control (RC) cars work due to different devices. One of the devices is the radio transmitter control box. The motor is an important part of RC cars as it serves as the car's strength. It is the one that powers up the propellers, wheels and moving parts. When the power source (gasoline or battery) sends the motor a signal, the motor turns this signal into mechanical work which in turn either heightens or lowers electrical activity in the remote controlled device. In short, it is the motor that serves as the mechanism for stopping and going.

RC cars get their power from a power source that is either gasoline or battery. The power source would depend on the style or design of the car or the kind of ground the car should run over. Not all remote-controlled cars are the same when it comes to the power source. If it is electric, it uses batteries which will be charged.

There are other cars that use gasoline as a power source. When they use gasoline, the performance of the car is taken to a different and a higher level. Gasoline powers up the car and makes the engine spin even faster that no battery ever could. When the car is used on a rugged terrain, it is best to use gasoline as a power source. Electric-powered cars are ideal for streets and driveways.

In starting a battery-operated remote controlled car, one has to ensure that all the batteries are functioning well. Usually the batteries are located under the car as well as the power switch. It is important to make sure the batteries are there and are properly stored inside the case. When everything is as it should be in the battery compartment, the power button must then be turned on. This will allow the player to control the movements of the car. The hand-held controller should also be turned on. The player should press the joystick on the hand-held controller forward so as to let the car start moving in any direction.
