For a person who needs a watch for the above reason, he need not buy luxury watches. What he needs is the simple kind that has reliable batteries. He can buy this in shopping malls or online.

Another reason for people to buy watches is for accessory purposes. The watch is just like bracelets. They can be accessories. Watches can accessorize a person if they are beautiful enough to serve such purpose. For this reason, a person can buy something with a beautiful design. If he has money to spend, he might as well buy one of luxury watches online or displayed in boutiques. But if not, he can also go for the cheaper ones. Watches as accessories do not have to be very expensive. They just have to have a beautiful design that compliments one's complexion and outfit.

The last reason why people buy watches, maybe the rarest or most uncommon one, is to make a statement. Luxury watches that costs more than a car or a small house are expensive because of the brand it is attached to. The watch carry the brand name. This is not to say that they are top of the line and are not made of the best materials in the world, because most of them are actually made of these things and more. But this is to say that when a person buys this particular brand, he is also wearing the reputation of the brand name that the item carries,

Brand names are good indicator of an item's worth. These brand names did not earn their reputation in one night. The usual success stories of these expensive brands include a time when they were starting to become popular because of the high quality of their products.

For brands of luxury watches, not only do they carry a quality signature, but they also carry with them the name for a watch made of rare and beautiful materials that only a luxury watch can have.
