There are some things though, that can lessen the fun in online shopping. For example, there is the frustration of the wrong things being shipped to you. In stores, the return or exchange policy is pretty much frustrating as well. However, the response time for a resolution pretty much depends on your efforts. So, for example, you brought a wrong item at a store. The time frame that it would take for the item to be replaced to the correct one will totally depend on you. If you feel the urgency of exchanging your item, you can drive yourself to the store right this very second and wait for it to open and present your receipt and the wrong item. If you're feeling lazy or if you love doing things at the last minute, then you can call the store and ask them when the latest date they can exchange your item.

On the other hand, when buying things online, whether you want the exchange to happen as soon as possible or not, you will need to wait for some time for the item you have sent back to reach the company and for the company to mail you the right item. So, even if you want the exchange to happen right now, even with expedient overnight shopping, the fastest the process could go is 3 days.

One of the issues online shopper get irritated with is regarding discount coupons. To take advantage of discounts when shopping in actual stores, you can print out a coupon from a website, or cut out one from a newspaper or magazine, or for some, get a code that can be presented to the store for scanning. For online shoppers, same discounts can be enjoyed, but not before some survey or questionnaire has to be answered. What's up with that? To get a coupon, you have to answer at least five questions and give your personal info, including email (which you may later notice will get lots of spam mail). With people becoming more and more conscious of their online personas being stolen or used by other people, would you really want to be asked of information when all you want is a discount coupon?

These concerns can easily be addressed, and can make a huge difference in a lot of people's virtual shopping experience if successfully solved.
