The proposition of technological gadgets posing a serious threat on established social norms is still debatable yet the proliferation of change in personal values and interaction is already evident. Although yet to be scientifically proven, behavioral changes are observed nowadays where technology is almost feeding us everything we need in one press of a button. Be courteous. The concept of sensitivity has become a challenge in demonstration because we often hear the phrase 'I do not care.' Well, that kind of philosophy will not get you anywhere as the more people you affect, the more people will go away from you. Simple demonstrations of being sensitive to how others feel will be avoidance of taking phone calls during meeting and getting away with it by simply saying 'excuse me', not fumbling upon your keypads to send a text message when someone is talking, and yes, keeping you phone in silent mode when you are about to discuss something important. Considerations can cover a lot of life aspects like work, social gatherings, and public dealings.

Be alert. Most people take phone calls or send text messages while on their way to work. The logic is simple and acceptable: it saves time by multi-tasking. So a young man crashed his car on another because he was not aware of the curbside and another vehicle approaching, a lady was thrown across the street after being bumped by a car while she was crossing and was busily composing a text message, a man has spilled coffee on a lady's dress after he bumped into her while searching in his phonebook, and one has tripped over an expensive chinaware because he was busy taking pictures. A lot of possible mishaps can be caused by not paying attention to what is more important.

Be considerate. How would a personal conversation be overheard by someone? Well, a person is talking too loud - and in public. Public meaning trains, buses, elevators, corridors, libraries, and even cabs. Consider somebody who knows you who comes to realize your secret, about what you did while you were on vacation, why you are so upset with your girlfriend, and all scenarios that tend to give away your personal life. There is one simple advice: stop being a loud mouth. Keep private conversations over mobile phones private and those public in correct places.

Be cooperative. If there is an area where you are not allows to use mobile phones, don't. Rules make sense when you realize what they do. Gasoline stations usually tell customers to turn off their cell phones during filling. Libraries maintain a silence policy. The meeting room is supposed to be quiet especially when a meeting is in ongoing. These are just a few situations where your cooperation is valued.
