Businesses and organization regularly conduct team-building activities so that their employees would be able to work harmoniously and productively to achieve their goals. These activities can also be enjoyed by couples in order to improve, strengthen and lengthen their union. The couple should each jot down their plans for the following week on separate papers. After each item, they must leave a space for the other to indicate if the activity shall have no effect, be in conflict or build their time with each other. Many couples are not aware if their individual activities will mar or not their togetherness.

Another one of the paper-and-pen team building events they can do is to write plenty of statements, beginning with the word "we", about their likes, dislikes and outlooks as a couple.

Such an activity shall fuse the both of them together as a couple. On other sheets of paper, they must then write down all the activities they do separately which can be shared together. This shall inform them of other ways to be together during the week.

Another team-building event the couple can do involves running and a blindfold. The guy blindfolds the girl (or the other way around) and then takes her hand and leads her in a slow walk. After she is capable to walk properly , the guy should encourage her to jog slowly. He must then motivate her to run as quick as she can and trust him wholly as he leads her. This is hard to perform and it would take a few days to earn enough trust for the other partner so that the exercise would be completed. The leader must always be set to catch the blindfolded follower if she trips or falls. It would be the role of the follower to trust the leader to warn her of holes, slopes, rocks or other obstructions. It can be very tricky to walk blindfolded but it would be more difficult and nerve-racking to run fast with the said blindfold. Trust shall be developed if the couple does this activity successfully.

One of the most known team-building exercises is the Minefield. This can be done indoors or outdoors with objects scattered on the floor or ground. The guy must be blindfolded and positioned on the other side of a make-believe minefield. The girl should lead him safely to the opposite side utilizing just her voice. To succeed in this activity, she must speak to him in a calm voice and carefully tell him how to avoid obstacles. The goal is not to let the blindfolded partner fall or stumble due to the barriers. The couple must take turns in performing this activity.

Couples should subject themselves to these team-building activities as well as laughter workshops to unwind, have fun and be closer than ever.
