For me, there is nothing more rewarding in life than combining what I enjoy the most - love, girls, travel, and adventure. Before 9 11 I had a plane ticket, a flat reserved, and a trip planned to the Ukraine to meet a girl I had been corresponding with online. After 9 11, and a military accident where a passenger plane was shot down over the Crimea in the Ukraine by their military – I thought better of my trip. At the same time, I started dating my wife – the girl I would marry (and later divorce). I always fantasized what it would have been like to travel to a far away land, look for love, meet interesting girls, and have an adventure. So what do you think I did the moment my divorce papers were filed – I landed in the Ukraine to meet some girls I had been in touch with in anticipation of my divorce.

I will tell you – I have experienced everything I was looking for in the Ukraine - love, amazing girls, adventure, and the most eye opening travel experiences I could ever have dreamed. I have been four times now – I'm planning my next trip. I have had good experiences and some incredibly strange and at sometimes even dangerous experiences – it is always an adventure.

Some of the girls are very sweet, kind, shy, and amazing. Some girls are just plain femme fatales with their own agenda. One thing is sure – you never know what you will experience and what you will find until you are there. I cannot say in one trip yet I has gone as planned – that is half the fun of the adventure. It is also amazing to be in a country where you cannot speak the language or even read it. I have used translators extensively and some cities, like Kiev, is very comfortable for travel – most people in the service industry speak some English in Kiev and many of the girls I have met study some English in school.

What I like most about my travels is no matter how the trip turns out – no love, strange or dangerous girls, travel mishaps, all of it – it is ALWAYS an adventure.

I joke with my friends about one girl I met – and was actually engaged to – "You have not lived until you have fled a city in the middle of the night in a foreign country where you do not speak the language." But that is another story... A future blog because it is an almost incredulous adventure all its own – with of course love, girls, travel, and adventure. Speaking of girls – the picture above is me and the girl I was engaged to. It is a very short engagement when you flee her city in the middle of the night...you will have to wait for the full story of this adventure. Take a look at my web site for future writings.

You may ask, why the Ukraine? Intellectual curiosity – having lived through the Cold War it is interesting to see and experience the culture of an ex Soviet Union country. The Ukraine also does not require a travel visa and I like the culture. Ukranian girls are very timid and reserved at first – but when you get to know them you will find they are very warm hearted. Once you become friends with a Ukranian girl – you are a friend for life. They are a very loyal people to their true friends. The trick is to become a true friend – it takes time and not all the girls there are what they seem at first. They are very street wise .

What is most interesting about looking for love, meeting girls, and travel in the Ukraine is the experience. The adventure is getting to see and experience another country through someone else's eyes. To have the ability to put aside your culture, be open, and experience all as a guest, not just a visitor or traveler.

In Ukraine, the family comes first and is number one – I think we have lost our way in this respect in America. We spend so much time on work and with our coworkers, the demands of our jobs, and the daily stress of life we have removed the family from being number one in many cases.

Also, in Ukraine – education is highly valued. To give you an example – there are no student loans. Most things are paid for in cash in the Ukraine. The average Ukranian makes $300 to $400 a month – with both spouses needing to work to survive. A flat, of course it depends on the city, but normally will cost $300 to $500 a month. Groceries cost just as much as they do here and so do clothes (50% tariff on imports keeps the cost of clothes, electronic goods, and cars very high). Yet – all the girls I met are enrolled in the university – at a cost of $1000 to $3000 a semester. These families find a way to educate their children – that is how much they value education.

I love to travel, I love meeting new people, I enjoy adventure, and I love dating girls with a different culture. This is one of the major reasons I decided to join work for myself – I want to have more time to travel. I need more adventure than a job with only two weeks' paid vacation can afford me.

Whatever you like – love, girls, travel, and adventure or maybe just having more time with the ones you love – this can give you the time and freedom to have more time for your passions and dreams.
