Numerology Compatibility - Can it be Real?

At the opposite end of practicality and reasonableness-- we find an ancient study-- which consists of the study of symbolism of numbers, called Numerology.
Its roots may surprise you. It dates back some 10,000 years ago-- tracing its lineage to Egypt and Babylonia. If you recall your highschool geometry, perhaps the name Pythagoras will come to mind.
He is the one who is credited with formalizing this ancient (art, science, etc.?) about 2600 years ago.
Now, there is a tremendous resurgence in Numerology. That is in large part as a result of an increase in research and publication. And, experience in the results of the 'readings'!
The basic principal is that numbers could be associated and associated with symbolism and it is used to determine an individual's s personality, talents, strengths, inner needs, and emotional interactions-- to name just a few.
Interesting fact: The ancient Chaldeans believed that all things were built of energy which vibrated at varying states. Numbers were an integral part of this belief.
Doesn't make sense does it?
We could pass that off easily-- except that modern science (The String Theory) includes the theory-- in fact it is based on - the belief that all objects in our universe are composed of vibrating filaments (strings) of energy.
Now, that is the String Theory-- (you have been aware of the String Theory, eight?)-- and yet it supports and validates the ancient Chaldeans.
String Theory further states:.
1. Several extra (usually unobservable) dimensions to the universe must exist.
2. The holographic principle, which states how information in a space can link with information on the surface of that space.
3. Other principles or features, waiting to be discovered.
Again, the question: If Numerology helped you to understand yourself better, could it do anything but help in your relationship? Particularly when you used the same tool to better understand your partner?
So, is it so easy to dismiss Numerology Compatibility, or Astrology - just because we don't understand it?
