Looking to Get the Playstation Plus Subscription?

For my last birthday I got my Dad to get me a subscription to the Playstation Plus service available on the Playstation Network. If you don't know what Playstation Plus
is, it is a service provided by Playstation online. You simply pay a fee and you get
Access to a variety of games and an addition set of games every month.
With Playstation Plus, you also get a number of Beta games and extras such as
discounts on other games, full game trails, unique backgrounds and avatars as well.

Over all the value of Playstation Plus is actually really great.
When you sign up, there are 12 games that you can instantly download.
So far I have had games like Little Big Planet 2, Infamous 2, Just Cause 2,
StarHawk, Scott Pilgrim Vs The Work, Motor Storm Apocalypse, Saints Row 2
and Red Dead Redemption and Borderlands.
As you can see, that's a decent amount of games and it is constantly being updated.

The one thing I would say about my experience so far is that when I first got it,
there were lots of games but they were slightly older than what I like playing.
Call me a bit of a snob when it comes to gaming but I like my games to look great
and have good story lines in them. Having said that though, in the past few months
the game line up has been really great. Playstation Plus has had games like
Sleeping Dogs, Quantum Conundrum, The Cave and even Hitman Absolution!

So in terms of games, Playstation Plus is very good.
You may just want to have a good amount of spare time to play them all...

Playstation Plus Features

One of the best features for Playstation Plus is the online game saves.
You can access the save files from other Playstation 3 consoles, really cool.

The other game discounts are great too, I was able to download some of my favorite
PS1 games for something like $6! I loved those Abe's Oddworld and Abe's Odyssey games!

What I Would Like To See in Playstation Plus

Something I would like to see more inside the Playstation Plus membership is actually
less games but newer. I'd personally prefer to get something like 1 top new game
and a heap of Playstation mini games or indie games instead of another 5 older games.
With Indie and Mini games, you can easily spend a few minutes here and there when you are busy and not have to dedicate a few hours to finish a regular game.

Some of my favourite mini games that Playstation Plus has provided are
Retro/Grade, Machinarium and Cubixx HD.
