The exclusive resort offers a handful of bure sets among the resort's white sandy beach, which are carefully situated to afford guests the maximum privacy.

Accommodations

The resort offers four bure types, whose design features indigenous South Pacific influences while offering European-style facilities.

The Orchid Bure features a queen-size bed, indoor bathroom and outdoor shower atrium, along with an ocean-front veranda for lounging. The spacious bedroom is ventilated with louvered windows designed to cool the room naturally by letting in the tropical breeze, while the bathroom is decorated with Italian tile and features a private toilet, ceiling fans, sliding glass doors, fully-screened louver windows and a mini-ref. The bathroom leads out to a private deck with lounge chairs. Kayaks are also available for the guests to use.

The Frangipani Bure features a two-room suite and is located inside its own strip of sandy beach, a veranda and a spacious sitting room. The bedroom features a king-size bed and there is also a separate sleeping loft that can sleep two children or an adult.

The Hibiscus Bure has all the features of the Frangipani but has two separate bedrooms as well as a generous sitting room with mini-fridge.
The Tiare Bure features the same floor plan as the Orchid Bure and similar facilities.
Food and Dining

Meals at the Rainbow Reef Resort Fiji are served at an outdoor dining area, with the chef cooking every dish from scratch. Meals and snacks are available throughout the day and the menu can range from fresh seafood to coconut pizzas and barbecues. The specialty of the house is traditional Pacific Rim and tropical cuisine, but Asian, European, Indian and Caribbean menus are also available. Beers, cocktails and fine wines can be ordered to go with your meals.

Activities

Although the focus of the Rainbow Reef Resort Fiji is on diving, a wide assortment of activities are available to guests. For example, they can go snorkeling along the barrier reef, or go trekking along the resort s moderate-level hiking trails that can be covered in thirty to forty-five minutes. Guests can also enjoy off-island activities, such as taking a trip to the nearby Bouma Falls, which is reached by boat and features three separate waterfalls. From Bouma, guests can reach Lavena, which is a twenty-minute trip overland, and features the famed Lavena beach as well as a secluded waterfall found within the rainforest. Guests can also visit Kioa Island to get a glimpse of the traditional islander s way of life. Visitors can witness the villagers giving a traditional Fatelle (dance) and song performance. Or if they want more privacy, patrons can go to the uninhabited Korolevu island, located in the Somosomo Straits, which features three secluded beaches.
