I am giving up all that I have

I have always taken great pride in being a Traditionalist, even though I am also known to be liberal in many cases. I have had only one job all my life, I pastored only one church for 24 years and I have had the same house for 24 years. I have been married to the same lady for 3o years and lived in the same city for 51 years. Pretty traditional huh! Most of us are traditionalist as well, not so much in the way I have just described myself, but in our way of thinking and doing things.

That's why I am giving up all that I have that does not want to change. It may be the way that I do business, or the way that I make and maintain my friendships. I am giving up the way I have treated my wife, kids, and my mother.

For most of us if we don't give up the way that we have been doing things we will retire with a retirement income that is smaller than what we are making right now. And what we are making right now is just enough to barely survive. If you do not give up your ways of doing things, your kids and grandkids will follow you into the same mess. Many of us have become traditionalist in our affiliation of our political views and that seems not to have worked out either, no matter what party we are from.

Granted I am making a point here and we better not give up those things that have value in our lives such faith in God, love and devotion to our wife and kids, and loving our neighbors. But we must be willing to give up many of the things that we have formed in our lives as rituals and traditions that are now burying us in sorrow and frustrations.

I have arrived to the conclusion that even though I have worked hard my entire life and all that hard work has given me some measure of success, I need to work smarter. The way of doing business has changed throughout the world and cultures, bringing new opportunities to all who are willing to give up the old way of thinking and doing things. Some of us having been praying to God for some time now, we have asked Him to help us pay our bills, get rid of our heavy debts, and have a better lifestyle with longer and better vacations. Yet we have not seen the hand of God, even if we were staring at it right in our face. Yes I said even if you were looking at it more than 5 times a day, even if you are looking at it this very moment.

The inventor of the internet is God even though He uses man to manifest His ways. It is He who wants to bring the world together for good through the ability to share common interest and desires. That's why He has brought it all together and gave us search engines to find what we need and desire, so we can get closer to each other and share the wide spectrum of life in joy and in harmony.

Did I mention that the internet is making it possible for more families to prosper through all sorts of ideas (including home based businesses and network marketing) than ever before? We have not understood the power of having 100 clients among 3.5 billions persons on this earth who would buy your hobbies or your interest or your words at $30.00 membership, that's about 3,000 a month. Could 3,000 dollars help you and your family out a little bit. What if you had 500 clients who would buy from you $30.00 dollars a month of the millions of things to sell, that would be about $15,000 a month. You say "I can't do that", I told you, you got to give up that stinking thinking if you want to retire with more than $1,000 a month for life.
