What do I know about life, family, business and network marketing?
A little help from our friends can go a long way in every area of our lives. I recently joined a network marketing company that is very young, yet already it has 9 of the top money earners in the industry. I also became a success over night in the business, in two and a half hours my wife and I achieved their first leadership level. I made lots money and I am receiving residual income every month. Many of my family and friends joined as well and in part they are responsible for my success. Family and friends always come through in our lives, they make a big difference whether we make it or not in just about every area of our lives.
Problem many of those same friends that help me out in my new MLM business were not as fortunate to have the same success as I did. There are many reasons why they have not had at least some kind of success and I like to briefly share them with you. I also have a solution that can cure what the industry calls 80/20 symptom. 80/20 meaning 80 percent quit over a period of time and 20 percent eventually have some level of success.
Here is what happened to me in a nutshell, within a month I had signed up 40 persons in the business, mostly with a gold package in which I made 150 dollars per sign up and another 87 dollars in bonuses. That's a pretty good month would've you say. As time went by and many of my family and friends quit and some of my direct distributors sign ups also started to quit, my residual income became smaller and smaller.
The reason for failure were and is longevity, like any business you know that when you make an investment of any sizes it is going to take some time to make it successful. Most of those who joined wanted immediate big results and when they did not get it they became discourage and quit. Others did not have the time or better said they did not make the time to become successful. The common excuse is "I don't have the time", yet they have the time to sit in front of the television 4 to 6 hours a night 7days week. They don't have the time to be rich but they have the time to be poor.
Another reason people fail is because they lack knowledge and training in the ways of success. One of the things that I like of MLM and network marketing is that in the process of becoming successful they are being train in the ways of an entrepreneur. People lives are literally transformed in a short period of time. Like most MLM company the initial investment is quiet small for the opportunity to make thousands, hundreds of thousands and for some millions. I have been in business for over 40 years and I can tell you that it takes money to make money. Most of the times we do not see the return of our investment for years to come, and many go bankrupt and never see the return of their money.
Now the solution to this is very simple, especially in the network marketing industry. Instead of putting all the people underneath as directs, you sign up the first few as directs and the rest of them you help those who come into the business on you're down line. In other words if we build our business down our success goes up. For example, my 40 directs and the directs of my first 12 sign ups added up to let's say to 100 persons. Instead of going to the side, if we would of build down, today we would all still be in the business and making money. You say, aren't you going to run out of people to put underneath, no not when we are doubling the world population every hundred years. What I am saying is, if we are going to get our family and friends involved in our new network marketing company at least give them a chance to make it by working the business down. If you look at most of the MLM companies they show you this chart of two getting two. You start with your 2 then those 2 get 4 and your 4 get 8 in a matter of a year there are 4096 people signed up in the business. If you give your friends a little help, they will tell their other friends and their friends will come two at a time and that my friends can go a long way.
