Legitimate network companies would usually allow you to mull things over as to whether you would want to accept their offer or not. That having been said, it is not normal for a networking company if they would outright force you to grab their "business opportunity" by telling you that they currently have a special discount on that particular package, among others. Now if you feel that the representative you are talking to is pressuring you to immediately buy their company's package, then this particular company might be a bogus and you just might be a potential victim.

Another thing to watch out for is whether a particular network marketingcompany would force you to buy expensive "business packages" with the promise of promise of faster income returns. Legitimate networking companies would not do this simply because they would want you to make your own choices since your motivation alone would be enough for their products to be sold and gain mileage. Also, be wary of networking companies who would urge you to purchase a credit card for your business costs or take a loan as a mode of payment for "investments".

But the last and most basic thing to watch out for is the promises and/or claims made by these companies. Remember that although networking is a really lucrative and high-earning form of business, you really have to start out small in order for you to gain eventual success. Be wary of networking companies who promise that you'll have "high income in no time" or "get rich fast" since these are red flags for a possible pyramiding scam.
