When asked which they notice first in a woman, more than half of a population of men would answer "her eyes". Maybe, this is reason enough for you to make your eyes look much more attractive and luring with the use of false eyelashes? Some would answer 'no' due to simple reasons such as "it's hard to put them on and it hurts to take them off" or "I don't have extra time in the morning". Well, those reasons are acceptable but it just takes a bit of getting used to for one to be comfortable in wearing false eyelashes as an everyday thing, similar to your mascara and lash curlers.

False eyelashes have been around since the 20th century when a director named David Griffith wanted to make an actress in his movie have her eyelashes touching her cheeks by having wig hair cuttings glued to the actress's upper lids. But that was not the "boom" of false eyelashes since women during that time very much enjoyed the use of their mascara. It was not until the 1960s when the false eyelashes became popular again, alongside other eye enhancing products.

From then on, many famous people have made great use of these products and surely, all of these progressed through the years. Today, you will see mascara of different formulas, different functions, and even with different wands. Women would not just pick out a tube of mascara without knowing what it is for. Eyelash curlers also vary; it could differ in the curve so that customers could choose one appropriate for their eye shape, and it could also differ in length, some could curl your lashes all at once while some could curl your lashes a segment at a time. As compared to these two, the false eyelashes may possibly have the greatest variations since they come in different lengths, types of hair used, color, shape, and style.

Choosing and putting on the right eyelash for you may be easy as long as you know what you want and you think that you can pull it off. If you are having difficulty in choosing the best one for your taste, try asking a pro or read blogs about what is more suitable for you. Also, if you're having a hard time putting them on and not waste your money on the first try, you could again go to a pro and have them put it on for you, and while they are at it, be sure to get some tips. Don't worry about it feeling a bit uncomfortable in the beginning, you'll get used to it through time as if you're wearing nothing on.. in the most decent way, of course.
