The Bad: Support for other types of materials is still unknown.

Filament 3D Printers
Note that there are entry-level and high-end filament 3D printers. These printers are the standard today when you buy 3D printer models, especially the ones that aren't designed for mass production. The high end models can be used for commercial purposes but their production capabilities still have limits.
The cheaper units only have single extruders while the more expensive high end models have multiple extruders, which basically results in the ability to print different colors.
The Good: These printers are hassle free to setup. They are great options for people looking for cheap 3D printer brands/models. The high models have relatively larger print areas.
The Bad: Cheaper models can only print in one color with smaller build areas. The high end models can be very expensive.
