Aloe Vera � This plant is known for its antibacterial and healing properties. When the gel-like paste from the plant is applied to herpes blisters it brings a cooling effect. It is known to heal wounds and lesions.
Coconut Milk or Oil � Every part of the coconut tree is useful, from its fruit and leaves, down to its roots. Applying coconut milk or oil to the blisters can have a soothing effect.
Turmeric � Known for having anti-inflammatory effects on par with herpes medication. This is taken orally, mainly as tea.
As for other herbs and ingredients most herbalists and naturopaths would be able to guide you and recommend or create a paste, tea, or even a diet for you. The human body may have different reactions to herbs and most of these remedies mentioned are for cleansing and relief. However, unlike conventional herpes medication, they�re not extensively studied. They make your journey to wellness less troublesome but they do not guarantee full recovery from the infection. Likewise, they might not be able to prevent more outbreaks.
Some people respond well to a concoction of herbs, yet don�t get any relief from taking herpes medication. So, naturopathy can be worth a try, despite coming with a disclaimer and having no guarantees.
