Loud and possibly disturbing, the new wave of Halloween music

The new wave of music has come with a tsunami of improved electronica and a barrage of just about every beat ever made. Nowadays, music chart toppers consist of upbeat material such as the trendy music called EDM or Electro Dance Music which has emphasis on the beat more than the lyrics.
This system with only a few lyrics is good for those �Last Song Syndrome� worthy tunes in your head such as jingles. Jingles, commonly heard during certain seasons, have also grown in recent times in terms of music quality. Some seasonal jingles that have evolved are the new Halloween songs that blast out of the speakers of millions of households.
New Halloween songs sound more like heavy death metal songs. Not only are such songs upbeat and loud, but the screams and flow of the songs make it a different kind of scary. If teens were in charge of the music, Halloween would be consisting of metal bands such as Slipknot, who would probably play the trick or treat season right with their masks that are just downright creepy.
With creepy masks like that of Batman�s nemesis Scarecrow and hardcore music that seems to yell at you, Slipknot is one of those bands that might be a highlight for haunting Halloween jingles. There are bands with the same music style and lyric base, but the costumes are a lot different.
The eerie noises like witch cackles, evil laughs, beastly growls, graveyard bells, and other elements of tunes are still pretty common in new Halloween songs, but there is also the use of rock band instruments such as electric guitars, drums, and basses. These new songs may be a new kind of disturbing, but they still spread off that Halloween-y vibe.
The popular Halloween music in this day and age uses lyrics that speak of nightmarish situations or contains stories about monsters and the creatures that lurk underneath the bed or inside the closet. Lyrics of the end of days are going around being yelled by band vocalists with really rough and scratchy voices.
This brand of new Halloween songs is nothing like the music that was played back in the days when walking dead danced around with Michael Jackson or frolicked about in a mysterious castle in the Backstreet Boys� �Everybody.� This new wave calls to mind images of being on the hunt like what was often depicted in the �Halloween� horror movie franchise.
New Halloween songs can range from anything eerily soft to angry and loud, and the perfect time to test out these tunes and jingles is in the days leading up to October 31st. Who would not want to go from house to house collecting candy from strangers while lyrics like �some of us will never sleep again� keep playing in their head? There are probably a lot more new Halloween songs to entertain and scare us in the coming years.
