Smoking. Tobacco smokers have higher risk of miscarriage. A significant increase in the risk is also associated with the child�s father being a smoker.
Age. The mother�s age is a significant component. Rates of spontaneous abortion go higher with age, with more significant increases after the age of 35.
Exercise. A study revealed that most kinds of exercises (except for swimming) are associated with higher risks before reaching 18 weeks of pregnancy. It was also noted that increased time allotted for exercise also increases one�s susceptibility to pregnancy issues.
Caffeine. Consuming considerable amounts of caffeine is correlated with an increased spontaneous abortion risk.
Significant Symptoms
Besides vaginal bleeding, other symptoms you should take note of are:
Cramps
Fever
Abdominal pains
Passing of tissue

Infection
Hormonal problems and conditions
Incompetent cervix
Immune system disorders

A woman can still be impregnated after a miscarriage. About 85% of them give birth normally despite having previously suffered from spontaneous abortion. However, a woman should first talk to her healthcare provider before trying to conceive once more. Some doctors may advise to wait for a certain amount of time before trying again.
