Perhaps it sounds familiar to you. It's Friday morning and you find out that your fridge is empty once again. All of a sudden you see nothing but darkness in front of your eyes and then you hear yourself screaming at him:
„Can you tell me why are you freaking out? I have told you that we have a lollipop at home. Stop right now or I will spank you... "

When you are saying those last words, you already feel sorry about it. Desperate, you pack your goods and head back home. You keep thinking about that awkward situation during entire evening trying to figure out what you are doing wrong. Why your devil doll gets angry all the time when it can't get what it wants? And why you are unable to keep calm and reasonably talk with it?

For children, any shop is one big adventure. A place with great things everywhere, the things that need to be discovered, explored and preferably bought. They simply want to have everything and don't understand our frowns at all. If we refuse to give them their desired thing, we may find ourselves wondering how terrible havoc it can cause. However, we just want only the best for our children. But at the same time we know that if we bought them everything they wanted, not only we would need 3 football fields to store everything at least, but not even a million on our bank account would be enough for that. "Unbelievable. Somebody must have swapped the child with me!"
Since the day when pocket money have been introduced she doesn't have to fight with his son for everything he desires. And it still works for them as well as before. And do you know what the best thing about this story is? When the son spends all of his money at once occasionally, he just notes calmly:
"Umm, mom, you know, I can't afford it now. But once I have enough money saved for that, I will buy it. "
The mommy took just a tiny step and her son has learned a bit about responsibility. At that point she doesn't have to be worried that her son can't manage his money when he gets into puberty.
