Spiritual Intelligence: Open Yourself to IT?

Am I free and tapping into spiritual intelligence if I don't allow myself to experience feelings and emotions to deeper degree below my surface level, but continue keeping things more tempered and even?

And, "Am I free when I experience mostly the positive emotions such as bliss or peace rather than the negative ones such as anger or anxiety?", asked my friend Vinita Hampton Wright in her article Spiritual Freedom in an Emotional World.

Experiencing spiritual intelligence asks that countless millions of individuals be just like that professor in the true story I used as example in my book, Mastering Your Own Spiritual Freedom: Lessons from A Course in Miracles, where every day validating and inspiring others, there is a very high probability that in most cases they will never be told that they made a difference.

As I discussed in a previous blog article, we all have been appointed by the Christ in us to carry out our own free will. Having the easy job that gets you by in life by paying the bills is not necessarily living your free will, though it could be. The job you have does not necessarily signify your free will.

A Course in Miracles teaches that you will know it in your heart if what you are doing with your life is your free will or not. Surely you will know if you are fooling yourself or if you are open to spiritual intelligence.

Spiritual intelligence can simply walk away from the ball and chain. But this is really not about the job you have, which is necessary to survive, but about what makes you passionate about each day when you wake up in the morning.

Doing this task that the Christ in you has designated for you cannot be hard. It is He who is doing it for you.

Spiritual intelligence is where your joy is in what you do. As you are living this free will, which is God's will, you will learn that your body merely seems to be the means for doing it, and your mind is also His. Therefore, it must be yours. This is a unity of mind, which is your holiness as we talked about earlier, and directs the body through the mind at-one with Him.

How else can you reveal the Christ in you—your spiritual intelligence, other than to accept this holiness of which you are? Religions have done a good job of teaching us about the holiness and the holy places "out there." This is where perceptions tell you that you are what you think and see.

By praising a body you erroneously believe that you must attach yourself to, or connect with, what is "out there," and see it as a missing piece to the puzzle that special ceremonies, rituals, or interceding others will help you find. But no one and nothing outside you can fulfill this role.

To know your own spiritual freedom you must understand that the message and the messenger are one. You must see your brother/sister as one with yourself. Remember, the Christ in you is also the Christ in your sister/brother. Yes, indeed, spiritual intelligence.
