There are even some places in the island chain that is catered exclusively for trekkers and hikers alike. Here are some of them:

Gran Canaria

Hailed as the Canaries� own version of Camino de Santiago, the Gran Canaria is a grueling 75 kilometer path that will take at least 3 days to cover. It�s a path that stretches from the Maspalomas in the south to the Galdar in the northwest.

Fuerteventura

La Palma

First, there is the San Antonio volcano which is at least 3000 years old and is located at the more challenging sections of the path. Then, you�ll descend to Volcan Teneguia which is dormant for now. Finally, you will reach the beach at the Fuencaliente lighthouse to rest and relax.
