By taking proper care of your body, you will find it easier to refresh your mind. Even if your job is not too physical, stress can eventually take its toll on your body.
If you feel tired often, you need to recharge your battery. Following are some activities for busy people that can help energize your weary body and mind:

Enjoy a warm bath. � Warm baths can be quite relaxing. Put some Epsom salt in the water. It contains chemicals that can get rid of toxins, reduce stress-related inflammation, and improve your muscle function.

Use exfoliating scrubs. � An exfoliating scrub helps improve your blood circulation. This, in turn, helps recharge your tired body. Ideally, use scrubs that contain natural ingredients like salt or oat. Rub it gently on your wet skin, then rinse it off with warm water. Proper blood circulation helps boost energy, reduce stress, and maintain a healthy body.

Adopt a healthier diet. � Your diet has a bearing on your energy levels. For health and fitness for busy people, experts suggest a combination of complex carbs like starchy veggies and whole grains, with healthy fat and lean proteins for every meal.

Even if your schedule is packed, it is still possible to prepare nutritious meals. You can refer to a registered dietitian or use the guide provided by the American Heart Association.

Do some stretching. � A weary, stressed body is more likely to sustain injury compared to a relaxed and healthy one. Stretching your tired muscles even for just a few minutes every other day helps. Taking yoga classes one or two times a week can give your body a thorough stretch.

Exercise. � When you feel very tired after a long day, you may be tempted to just slump in front of your TV. However, this will only make you feel more exhausted. So, instead of recharging by sitting down, try to get up and move around. Biking, jogging, or walking � even for only 20 to 30 minutes � can provide enough energy to sustain you for a few hours.

Get sufficient sleep. � Sleep is a great body recharger. Health experts recommend 7 to 9 hours of sleep each night for healthy people between the ages of 26 and 64. Having less than 6 hours of sleep every night is considered a risk factor for work burnout.
